I went on a women's retreat on June 8-9, 2012 in Chautauqua, New York. This is just a short clip of the Methodist home's front porch in which I was staying.

This is my dream to have a house built with some old fashioned features. My mother loves big porches, and since a kid I've always loved them too. I can remember how mama would get all dolled up and go sit on the porch with a glass of cold soda or water and relax. I would go sit with her, and be at peace. Now whenever she moves into another house, she has to have a porch. But nowadays these types of porches are hard to find with these modern day houses.

Beautiful porch I could just sit out there by the water in the Blessed Quietness and Journal, Talk to God and Pray Pray Pray!!! I have been to two Retreats many many years ago and I am due for one now.
